CSA | Subscription Policies
By purchasing the flowers CSA subscription, for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following terms and conditions as the recipient.
PAYMENT
I understand that once I sign up and pay for my membership in full, I have secured my place in the CSA for the respective season.
There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my CSA once purchased. Subscribers may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of the season’s subscription, and the subscription ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original subscriber directly. I understand that I am responsible for informing Bella Flowers if such a transfer occurs.
START DATES
I understand that the start date of each CSA subscription is flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that Bella Flowers Farm in the flowers will communicate via email to inform all subscribers of updates and the official start date, and that it is my responsibility to contact Bella Flowers Farm via email if I am not receiving notifications near the projected CSA start date.
PICKING UP MY SUBSCRIPTION
I understand that my bouquet will be delivered weekly to the pick up location. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my flowers for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to collect my flowers. If I am unable to pick up my flowers I will entitle a friend to do so. I understand that if my flowers are not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that bouquet and that it will be donated at the discretion of the farmer. I will not receive credit or a refund for any flowers that I do not pick up.
Pick up time parameters are set for the entirety of the season. I agree to not sign up for the CSA knowing that I cannot regularly make it to pick up on the designated day & time.
I agree to not arrive early or late to the pick up location expecting my flowers to be available. I understand that the pick up location is also a place of business, and that I am not to interrupt or distract the staff in the course of their normal duties.
I understand that I am responsible for bringing a container to transport my flowers home in. All buckets and bins are to be left at the CSA pick up location.
SPLITTING MY SUBSCRIPTION
I may coordinate the splitting of my CSA subscription with another individual. I understand that Bella flowers does not facilitate such arrangements, and does not coordinate special payment on split subscriptions. I will make all arrangements myself for collecting payment from the individual with whom I am splitting my subscription.
SHARING THE RISK
I understand that as a subscriber, I share in both the bounty and the risks of farming/growing. I understand that the risks include poor harvests due to unfavourable weather or pests, or the total loss of all crops due to a natural disaster such as fire, flood, or drought.
COMMUNICATION
I understand that email is how Bella Flowers communicates updates and changes. By signing up for the CSA, I understand that I will be added to the weekly email list, and I agree to add bellaflowersfarm@gmail.com to my email contacts.
Bella Flowers Farm will not be held responsible for miscommunications due to our e-mails going to your Spam folder or Promotions tab. I will notify Bella Flowers Farm immediately if I do not receive an e-mail receipt of my payment or my weekly CSA emails.
