After many moves as a military family, Kevin and Carolina found a piece of country heaven in Locust Grove, VA that they now call home. As a city girl transplanted into the country, Carolina knew nothing about bees and pollen; different types of soils; or anything agricultural related however from the first year of arriving she made it her mission to learn how to grow things. Carolina started with vegetables and soon switched to flowers and now with the help of her husband they grow 47 different flowers and more than 107 varieties. Their flowers are generally available May through October, and their plans for next year are to expand the season with hoop houses or High Tunnels.
